WWHP: Diagon Alley

It really is a breathtaking experience to walk past the London facade and see up close what you’ve been seeing and reading about for so long. Hogsmeade really captures the feel of the small village town and does an excellent job of replicating Hogwarts, but Diagon Alley is INSANE. Huge, detailed, and absolutely amazing!

One thing that I really appreciate is how the London facade and the tall buildings block out the rest of Universal Studios so you don’t look over and suddenly see the Simpsons or a roller coaster amidst all of the completely immersive scenery.

Every shop and window display is absurdly detailed. The dragon perched atop Gringotts randomly roars and breathes fire throughout the day and generally just looks really cool. The Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes display moves its hat up and down just like in the film.

There’s so much to explore without even going into any of the shops or attractions. One of my favorite touches was the occasional performances by Celestina Warbeck in a newly introduced section, Carkitt Market. The singer(s?) who portray her and the Banshees are absolutely incredible.

Seems accurate to me!

My Met look at the Met Ball two years ago when I was really pregnant - I had these gloves and this whole floral print and I loved it. I thought it was so cool and it got a lot of criticism and I didn’t care because I really loved it.
